Todowing

Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for the Todoist web app. Todoist lists tasks flat in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters and Labels, so a sub-task shows up without its parent. Todowing nests sub-tasks under their parents in those views, up to four levels deep. Each sub-task row keeps its own due date, priority and labels, and you can check off or reopen sub-tasks without leaving the list.

The free version includes all of that, seven color palettes and a text size slider from 85% to 200%. It limits you to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task and needs no account.

A lifetime unlock costs $19.99 once, with no subscription, and refunds are available within 14 days. It removes the row limit and adds: editing and reordering sub-tasks from the list, hiding finished sub-tasks, filing one task under a parent in another project, focus sessions with a countdown card, time estimates, a three-line notes pad above Today, a font picker with fifty Google Fonts, and up to five read-only Apple Calendar feeds on Today.

Todowing runs in the Todoist web app in Chrome on any Todoist plan. Your Todoist token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Tasks do not pass through Todowing servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking. Todowing is not affiliated with Doist.
